Meet Lindsey:


I am committed to offering you a confidential and safe space, to explore and help you make connection with your thoughts, feelings and behaviours.  I graduated with a Level 4 CPCAB diploma in May 2022 in Integrative Counselling and I have been a Cruse Bereavement volunteer since October 2020.  I am a member of the National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society and further information on me can be found on the Counselling Directory website.  


I have worked in mental health and wellbeing since 2018 and have gained a vast amount of experience during this time working with a wide range of issues.


I have worked with many clients face to face and via telephone/online counselling from a Bangor centre location.  I can work with you using a range of approaches to suit your needs of processing and understanding your mental health concerns from person centred therapy, CBT and psychodynamic counselling.  

What I offer


  • Individual counselling for adults 18+.
  • Pre-counselling assessment - during our initial meeting/call we will explore what has brought you to seek counselling support.  This also gives me an opportunity to discuss how the process of counselling works and what you will expect during our journey of working together.
  • Experience of working in areas of difficulties include - abuse, addiction, anxiety, anger, bereavement, depression, homelessness, loneliness, low self confidence, panic attacks, relationship issues, self harm, stress, suicidal thoughts and trauma.
  • 50 minute sessions.
  • Training includes - CPCAB Level 2 & level 3 in Counselling skills and theory, CPCAB Level 4 Diploma in Integrative Counselling, registrant member of National Counselling & Psychotherapy Society, Menopause Awareness training, Autism NI training, Alzheimers Society NI Dementia training, Cruse Bereavement training, Bereavement & loss through suicide training, Trauma Bereavement training and Anxiety disorders training.
  • Integrate practical sessions utilising tools and resources to help you achieve your therapy goal.
  • Access NI checked.
  • Fully insured with Holistic Insurance.

Costs


  • Initial assessment fee - £45 for face to face and telephone/online
  • 50 minute sessions - £45 per session face to face / £40 per session telephone/online
